The LCK Spring Season has concluded, with the top five teams locking in their places in the regional playoffs.

SK Telecom T1, Samsung Galaxy, KT Rolster, Afreeca Freecs and MVP all finish in the top of the standings to face each other for a shot at going to the Mid-Season Invitational in Brazil on April 28.

Reigning world champions SKT predictably dominated throughout the season, going 16-2 with their only losses coming to fellow playoff contenders Afreeca Freecs and Samsung Galaxy.

ROX Tigers and Longzhu Gaming both barely miss out on a playoff spots in the regular season after losing their respective games in the final week. Longzhu suffered losses to KT Rolster and bottom side Kongdoo Monster, meaning they ended the season on a four match losing skid.

MVP also ended the season in poor form, losing their last three matches as well as a tiebreaker for position against Afreeca Freecs.

Jin Air Green Wings and Kongdoo Monster will have to face the Promotion Tournament after finishing at the foot of the table, and will need to beat the top two Challenger sides in order to regain their spots in the LCK.

Afreeca Freecs and MVP will both meet in the first round of the LCK Playoffs on April 7. The winner of that match will face KT Rolster in the second round, then the winner will meet Samsung Galaxy and then the winner of that game will meet SKT in the final.

The winning team will qualify for MSI, and put themselves in a strong position to reach the 2017 World Championship.
