Following a fairly lackluster start to the season, with four wins and four losses from their first eight games, it seems the winners of the last European split are making a change to their roster. Sources close to Elements have confirmed to the Daily Dot that veteran player Mike "Wickd" Petersen will be making way for a new top-laner.

Rumor of the move began to circulate after the roster swap was leaked on a private Facebook group for high Elo Swedish players. This prompted speculation as to who the replacement might be, with Jakub "Kubon" Turewicz seemingly the frontrunner for the soon to be vacant top-lane role.

The replacement will instead be the German player Kevin "kev1n" Rubiszewski, the Daily Dot has learned. Rubiszewski has been without a team since Millenium failed in their bid for promotion to the LCS and is currently a free agent. He also currently operates in a close proximity to the Elements training facility and has reputedly already held preliminary talks with the organization.

Whoever fills the vacant spot, it's clear that Petersen will be on his way out. The move will see the dissolution of one of the longest lasting League of Legends partnerships, as Petersen has played with legendary mid-laner Henrik "Froggen" Hansen since 2011.
