Titan Heart stats in Last Epoch

The Titan Heart is a unique chest plate that’s popular due to its significant impact on physical builds. The armor is melee-focused, and it adds stat boosts to increase damage output and reduce damage taken.
It grants +114 Armor, and +(5% to 14%) Lightning Resistance as Implicits. You have to be at least level 41 to use the armor piece. Additionally, while it has a Legendary Potential of up to four, the effective level to gain Legendary potential is 60.
It gets more difficult for the Titan Heart to become Legendary after each level. Reaching LP 1 and LP 2 have 23.4 and 2.34 percent chance respectively, while LP 3 and LP 4 drop significantly to 0.078% and 0.00011 percent, respectively.
The Titan Heart also grants the following stat boosts and benefits as Modifiers:
- +(50 to 100) Armor
- 15% Less Damage Taken while wielding a Two-Handed Melee Weapon (Multiplicative with other modifiers)
- (30% to 40%) increased Melee Damage
- (30% to 40%) increased Health
How to find the Titan Heart
Getting the Titan Heart can be quite simple. You can obtain it as a random drop from enemies. Despite being a strong armor piece, it’s a common drop, although it’s determined by your luck. Additionally, it may not drop if you haven’t met the level requirement.
Titan Heart can also be acquired by using the Rune of Ascendance to change an item into it. However, this method only has a 6.35 percent chance of success, so trying multiple times will likely be the only way. Lastly, it can be obtained from the Blood, Frost, and Death Timeline, which has the same chance of success.
Best builds for Titan Heart
The Titan Heart can be used in a variety of builds and in many classes. However, it enhances builds that focus on physical attacks with special spells and skills.
A build that takes advantage of the Titan Heart includes a tank melee build that uses heavy weapons like the two-handed axe World Splitter or the two-handed spear Phalanx. The tank build also benefits from melee-focused skills like Vengeance, a melee attack that prepares you to riposte incoming hits, taking 25 percent damage in the process. Finally, another skill that can enhance the build is Lunge, which lets you quickly close the gap between enemies while dealing more damage than regular attacks.
The Titan Heart works great with other melee-focused builds, like builds for the Sentinel class. As such, it also complements skills like Erasing Strike, which deals amazing Void physical damage at a high mana cost. You can go a step further by completing the build through the Erasing Strike Void Knight build. It uses the Sentinel’s Titan Heart, the Dark World Splitter, and Erasing Strike to deal devastating damage to enemies. While not dealing the same damage, using the regular Titan Heart and World Splitter is still an effective build with the Erasing Strike skill. However, acquiring this build is a lot harder as not only you need to get Erasing Strike, but you also have to be at least level 85.
