Schedule 1 beta update v0.4.0f8: New additions, improvements, and bug fixes

TVGS is setting up for the next major update.

The Schedule 1 patch v0.4.0f8 went live on Steam on Sept. 27, 2025, bringing a wave of fixes and fine-tuning to the beta branch of the indie drug-dealer simulator. Coming right after the major v0.4.0 update that introduced the Benzies family cartel, this patch zeroes in on improving stability and smoothing out rough edges to keep the gameplay experience engaging and reliable for players.

Developer Tyler from TVGS has been steadily refining the game’s systems since the big content drop, which added rival cartels, new weapons, and expanded property options. With v0.4.0f8, the focus shifts toward polishing those features with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements, making Hyland Point feel more balanced and immersive as the open beta evolves.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Schedule 1 v0.4.0f8 update.

The latest Schedule 1 v0.4.0f8 beta update adds an interesting new mechanic with the “exceeded quality” bonus system, giving players extra rewards when they produce higher-grade products. This system encourages careful management during production, making quality control feel just as important as efficiency in operations.

Alongside this, property upgrades bring useful changes to how players manage their bases. Warehouses now come equipped with water taps, expanding their utility and giving players more flexibility when running large-scale operations. Hyland Manor, one of the most prestigious properties tied to the Benzies family storyline, now allows staffing of up to 12 employees instead of 10, creating more room for expansion.

These improvements build on the foundation laid by the major v0.4.0 update, which introduced the Benzies family rival cartel, the pump shotgun, the Hotbox vehicle, and new console commands for added gameplay control. With these refinements, the open beta continues to grow in depth, offering more ways for players to optimize their strategies and expand their influence.

Improvements and bug fixes

The v0.4.0f8 patch places a strong focus on stability, tackling one of the most common issues players faced during multiplayer sessions. Developers have resolved the problem of excessive graffiti-related network traffic, which was a major cause of connection drops and lag. With this fix, online play is expected to feel far smoother and more reliable.

The update also sharpens gameplay immersion by refining physics interactions. Impact forces now apply correctly to ragdolls, making character reactions and object collisions feel much more natural. This change brings added consistency to combat and environmental encounters, improving the overall flow of gameplay across Hyland Point.

Visual polish hasn’t been overlooked either, with adjustments to font rendering and corrections made to several graphical aspects. These quality improvements, while small on the surface, contribute to a cleaner presentation and highlight the developers’ attention to detail in addressing community feedback.

What’s next for Schedule 1?

After the major v0.4.0 content drop and follow-up refinements like the v0.4.0f8 patch, developer Tyler has made it clear that updates will move forward with a careful and steady pace. Instead of rushing to push out new content, the priority is delivering polished features and ensuring the game runs smoothly for everyone.

September 2025 also marked the end of the second community vote, where players chose Shrooms as the next big content focus. Tyler confirmed that larger updates will take longer to develop, with the next major release targeted for October or November. Alongside this, a special Halloween update is officially scheduled for Oct. 31, 2025, giving fans something extra to look forward to.

With consistent improvements and a clear roadmap, the game’s underground empire simulation keeps expanding while the developers balance new content with quality assurance.
