All weapons in The Precinct and how to unlock them

Justice served hot with lead.

Patrolling the streets of Averno City in The Precinct, you’re bound to find gang members or get dispatch calls about a situation where you’d need to take out your weapon and eliminate enemies with your squad.

While you start with a simple revolver as a recruit, as your only lethal weapon, you will quickly realize that you need stronger weapons to neutralize enemies from a distance. While you can’t randomly use your weapon on civilians without serious repercussions (losing level XP), you can definitely utilize it to take down a criminal running amok on the roads.

All weapons in The Precinct, listed

Weapons are important in controlling crime on the streets. You can add them to your inventory by reaching the rank and visiting the Armory at the Precinct. Here is a table showing all the weapons that you can unlock by gaining experience through your daily patrols:

Weapons Reach this level
PS-12 Masterkey Shotgun Recruit Level Two
Cantius RiflePolice Officer Level Three
ARM-16 Automatic RiflePolice Officer Level Five
37-PAS ShotgunPolice Officer Level Seven
Stallion .45 PistolPolice Officer Level Nine
GAL 9mm Submachine GunPolice Officer Level 11
SV-47 Assault RiflePolice Officer Level 13
V80 MP Submachine Gun Police Officer Level 18

Each weapon has different fire rates, damage, accuracy, range, and reload speed, making them unique in various types of firing situations. They also have an intimidating number for each firearm to strike fear in their hearts when you whip out the hardest weapon on the land.

How to change loadout, stock ammo, and get more weapon slots in The Precinct

After you unlock multiple weapons, you can change your default revolver into something more explosive, which puts enemies to sleep quicker than others. There are two ways to change your loadouts. First, head over to the Armory in the Precinct, which is located next to the Helipad room, and you can talk to the person to change your equipment. If you’re out on a patrol or engaged in a gunfight, check your police vehicle’s trunk to change your guns to fight the thugs.

If you need one more weapon slot in The Precinct to always have different types of firearms at your disposal, you can use one of the tokens to get an upgrade. You can get these tokens by climbing a rank by earning XP, completing patrols, and managing crime on your routine shifts at the station. Open the upgrades menu by opening the map by pressing M, and under the combat tree, you should spot an Additional Holster upgrade, which allows you to keep two non-lethal weapons to diversify your approach in any situation.

Lastly, ammo is a finite resource in gunfights, and you’ll need to check the trunks of the cars or look for small glowing crates in the gunfighting zone to interact with them to fill your ammo. Running out of ammo while you’re hiding behind cover can be deadly, so always make sure to fill your ammo before leaving the room to have the most gunpowder in your shells.
