Three months ago very few people had heard of him. Now he is one of the most decorated players in Hearthstone history.

Jon "Orange" Westberg, who only four weeks ago took victory at ESL Katowice, won the third edition of the Seat Story Cup last weekend over a field of 32 top players. The Archon player defeated his Swedish countryman Sebastian "Ostkaka" Engwall 5-4 in a nail-biting finale.

Adding $10,000 to his prize money from Katowice, Westberg has now earned $23,000 in prize money in the past month alone. Add on signing for Jason "Amaz" Chan's Archon team and ranking second place in the World Championship qualification standings in Europe, and you have 2015's most successful player so far.

The only other player to win multiple Hearthstone majors is Aleksandr "Kolento" Malsh, who has three titles to his name: the Viagame House Cup #1, DreamHack Winter 2014 and the EU vs CN Masters 2.

Coming through the first group phase with only a loss to fellow finalist Engwall, Westberg defeated Cong "StrifeCro" Shu, teammate Sebastian "Xixo" Bentert and defending Seat Story champion Janne "Savjz" Mikkonen en route to the final.

Despite being an unknown only a few months ago, Westberg was the favorite going into the final against open qualifier Engwall. Though Engwall has a significant online cup record and is regarded by fellow pros as one of the most talented players in the world, the Seat Story Cup represented the first major offline appearance for the ROOT Gaming player.

Westberg has shown arguably spotty form since first qualifying for the Katowice tournament, failing to win a game at the recent Viagame House Cup and taking five attempts to win a match in the Kinguin Pro League. However at Seat Story Cup, he was back to his very best.

Westberg will be looking to continue his offline form as he travels to London this weekend for the Gfinity Spring Masters II.
