Derbyshire, United Kingdom (October 3, 2015) – ManaLight has signed another professional Hearthstone player to their roster. This is a change from their European only line up as the signed player is from the North American region. “We strongly believe that signing Impact was a great move for ManaLight. He is another star player in our lineup and his geographical location brings us strategic advantage. This way, we have more access to the North American events and therefore we are able to cater to our North American audience more easily. Impact has also played with Powder previously and is good friends with most of our team members. This made sense on multiple levels, ” said Louis Corps, General Manager of ManaLight.

About the player

Josh “Impact” Graham is a 22-year-old Hearthstone player and a lifelong card game enthusiast from Canada. Impact is known for his unique deck builds. The beginning of his career was very promising with a 3-week streak as the king in ESL King of the Hill series and winning the Sunshine Open, the largest online open tournament ever. Impact has also maintained a top 5 spot in the world on GosuGamers. Impact took a break after iHearthU fell apart, so there was not much from him except for a notable top 4 finish in the IEM Katowice North American qualifiers. With his recent comeback starting in April, Impact has managed to place in the top 8 at Dreamhack PGL Summer Tales, got rank 1 legend while finishing top 20 and top 10 legend whilst winning a large number of online tournaments. Most recently, he finished top 16 in the Archon Firebat Swiss tournament with a 9-1 score. “Impact loves to make his own decks and find advancements in the top decks where nobody thought possible. He is a great player, and we look forward to having him on our team!” said Louis Corps.
