Each of the game’s nine classes will get one new legendary minion in the set, as well as a legendary weapon.

Geosculptor Yip is the newest legendary option for the Warrior class. It’s an eight mana 4/8 that summons a random minion at the end of your turn that costs the same as the amount of armor that you have at the time.

This is a potentially really strong option for Warrior. For a long time aggressive Warrior dominated the archetype, but more long-game control Fatigue Warrior decks have been more popular recently. While Warrior is not a great place on ladder, this gives those slower decks the ability to summon a lot of minions without having to expend resources from their deck. They can make themselves invincible with Dead Man’s Hand, while piling on board pressure.

Kobolds and Catacombs releases some time next month.
