Dreamhack Summer Decklists Compilation

Dreamhack is one of the most entertaining tournaments Hearthstone’s eSports side has in store for us and it’s fun to see people experimenting and taking more liberty with their deck choices. Some of the decklists caught our attention and we’ve put together 3 standout decklists that you should definitely try in-game.

Seiko’s Evolve Shaman

Evolve Shaman has been working quite well for a lot of people on ladder and I’ve had quite a bit of fun last month with Evolve Shaman by Hotform and Seiko made some changes to it and optimized it for a tournament. You have the usual Evolve package with Doppelgangster, a bunch of Jade Golem cards and also two copies of Bloodlust.

One of the most interesting additions to the deck is Sea Giant which allows the deck to apply quite a bit of pressure early on through your board spam, allowing the cost of Sea Giant to drop down fast enough to be playable as early as turn four.

The deck has plenty of early game minions and removals to contest aggressive decks and you can finish off the game even before you get massive Evolve turns through Bloodlust. Various iterations of the deck have been tried out at top levels of ladder play and the deck is particularly good against Pirate and Murloc decks.

DragonAlbert’s Miracle Priest

Miracle Priest is one of the most fun decks I’ve played in the Un’goro meta with Shadow Visions and Lyra the Sunshard offering quite a bit of value. Being able to play multiple Un’goro packs that Elise the Trailblazer generates through Shadow Visions and generating massive value makes the deck have one of the most unique win conditions I have ever seen.

Lyra the Sunshard is an extremely powerful card and it can really turn the game around on its own if you manage to chain a bunch of spells. Being able to draw various utility cards in one turn to deal with the enemy board or recuperate your health pool makes the card an auto-include in the deck. Combo-ing with Radiant Elemental can setup even crazier turns with plenty of 1 mana Priest spells being available

Orange’s N’zoth Control Paladin

Control Paladin has been making the rounds in the Un’goro meta with new cards like Hydrologist, Sunkeeper Tarim and Spikeridged Steed boosting the power level of the Paladin class card set. Stonehill Defender is an exceptionally powerful card for Paladins because of the Discover boost that makes the odds of drawing a Paladin legendary very high. With very few Paladin Taunt options and three of them being legendaries, drawing a Tirion, Tarim or Wickerflame is very likely each time you play the card.

Orange added some more greed to the already slow deck in form of deathrattle minions and threw in nzoth-the-corruptor. With plenty of removals and stall mechanics the deck is designed to go the long game. With plenty of Quest Warriors in the tournament, the paladin deck was designed to counter them quite well and the deck worked fairly well.

If you are going to nearby tavern brawls or tournaments, do give the decks a shot if you want to. These lists are designed for tournament play and are heavily tech-ed, they are not going to get you the best results on ladder and you will need to optimize them based on what you are facing at your rank before you expect good results.
