We heard you like elementals.

With the release date for Kobolds and Catacombs now confirmed, almost half of the set’s 135 cards have been revealed.

Most of the 65 cards revealed so far are class cards, with a ton of neutral cards still to be revealed. The latest of those was unveiled this morning.

Furbolg Mossbinder is a five mana 1/1 that transforms a friendly minion into a 6/6 Elemental when you play it on the board. It’s a targetable effect, so you can choose which minion gets turned into a 6/6.

Of course if you have an empty board, this card is utterly terrible. And therein lies the problem.

If you can play this on turn five and have something cheap already on the board worth transforming, then it could be a pretty good tempo swing. But if not, this just takes up a slot in your deck where you would much rather draw a good five drop.

Kobolds and Catacombs releases Dec. 7 in the U.S. and Dec. 8 in the rest of the world.
