Journeyman player Keaton "Chakki" Gill has signed on with his fourth team in 12 months, becoming the first non-U.K. player to join Team Dignitas—and arguably its biggest signing to date.

Established in August 2014, the Dignitas Hearthstone roster initially consisted of British players Lewis "Blackout" Spencer, "James "Greensheep" Luo and Nick "CookmySock" Li as the team looked to sign some of the very best players from its home country. However, with Gill once again a free agent following his departure from Team Coast, Dignitas clearly felt this was an opportunity they couldn't pass up.

Gill was originally a part of Team ManaGrind before leaving to join Clarity Gaming and competed for both teams as part of the ESGN Fight Night series. But he was left without a team when Clarity Gaming was dissolved. In September, he joined Team Coast before leaving in two months later along with all of his teammates in a move directly precipitated by Coast's sponsorship agreement with alternative streaming service Azubu.

In joining Dignitas, Gill will join up with longtime practice partner Spencer (Gill recently came out on top in a match between the two as part of the SCAN Invitational.)

The team has enjoyed some success driven mostly by youngest member Luo, who qualified for the Hearthstone World Championship finals and won the Insomnia53 Hearthstone tournament.

"I'm very happy to be joining Team Dignitas for 2015," In a statement on Dignitas' website, Gill said. "I'm excited to show what the team can do with Hearthstone, and look forward to competing in events representing Dignitas."
