Both products use Logitech’s Lightsync technology to synchronize light and sound to gameplay.
Logitech says the new speaker system is “the most immersive PC gaming speaker,” as Lightsync can be used to “match on-screen gameplay action.” Light and animation can both be customized to suit user needs.
The Lightsync powered keyboard has two mechanical switch options, Romer-G Tactile or Linear. The RBG lighting can be matched up with the rest of Logitech’s Lightsync gear for an even more immersive experience.
“Our goal with these two products was to complement our G502, the world’s best selling gaming mouse,” Logitech Gaming vice president Ujesh Desai said in a statement. “With Lightsync technology, we are able to add real intelligence to what RGB lighting can do—synchronizing audio and RGB lighting to on-screen gameplay.”
The keyboard and speakers will be available globally in April 2018. The speaker will sell for $200, while the keyboard is priced at $150.
