Halo 2

Team 3D's Halo tenure began when they signed team Shoot to Kill, consisting of Dave "Walshy" Walsh, Dan "OGRE 1" Ryan, Tom "OGRE 2" Ryan and Ryan "Saiyan" Danford, in April 2005. Prior to the signing, StK had been on a five event winning streak. The streak continued under the new name, with the newly christened Team 3D winning MLG St. Louis and CPL Summer 2005. Though Team 3D did win the Halo: CE 4v4 event at MLG Philadelphia, their Halo 2 streak was snapped when they were defeated by Str8 Rippin in the Halo 2 4v4 event, which featured exclusively the Team Slayer gametype. Team 3D then returned to glory, winning two VGL events in New York and Orlando, before returning to MLG and closing out the season with four straight event wins in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago and the New York National Championships. Despite the success, Team 3D parted ways with its Halo team after the 2005 season, and they went on under the name Final Boss.
