Biography

TriPPPeY is from San Diego, California.

Halo 5: Guardians

TriPPPeY emerged into competitive Halo prominence in Summer 2016, when he competed in the qualifying stages of the HCS Pro League. His team, Catastrophe, consisting of himself, Musa, Renegade and Brainstorm, made a splash by winning the first of three Open Qualifiers to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier. In the LCQ, Catastrophe finished in the top 8, not high enough to qualify. Catastrophe then began competing in the Open Circuit after replacing Musa with Nemassist. After three weeks as a top 3 team in the Open Circuit, Catastrophe replaced Renegade with v t3ct9. The roster eventually fell apart and TriPPPeY formed Tryvek alongside Renegade, Musa and Goofy. Tryvek ended up finishing in the top 8 in the Open Circuit Finals, not high enough to qualify for Relegation.

Going into the Fall 2016 season, TriPPPeY formed a new team - Contagious, consisting of himself alongside Chaser, Saiyan and FireBird. Chaser was soon replaced by v t3ct9. In Week 5, TriPPPeY and Saiyan revamped the roster, bringing in Scaryotic and TireIron and winning their first Legendary Cup. Going into the final week, Scaryotic was replaced by Boamx, and they won another Legendary Cup. Going into the Open Circuit Finals at HCS Las Vegas 2016, Contagious was signed by 6S Gaming. They finished 2nd in the Finals, good enough to qualify for Relegation, followed by a top 12 finish in the Championship Bracket. For Relegation, TriPPPeY's team was sponsored by MoneyMatches and went under the name The MoneyMatches Team. They finished 4th, failing to earn pro status.

During the offseason, TriPPPeY's stock rose dramatically as he propelled himself into a pro seed, joining Luminosity Gaming alongside Ninja, Victory X and eL TowN. At the team's first event together, they finished in the top 8. TriPPPeY then left Luminosity to join Team Allegiance alongside Spartan, Commonly and Suspector. In Vegas, Allegiance placed top 8, narrowly missing out on Halo World Championship 2017 qualification after a 4-2 loss to Pnda Gaming.

After Worlds, TriPPPeY tried out on a number of teams before finally returning to Luminosity Gaming alongside Ninja, Victory X and Saiyan. At UMG Daytona, Luminosity finished 2nd in its pool. In the Championship Bracket, they were upset early by Oxygen Supremacy in a 3-0 sweep. They managed to eliminate Believe the Hype and Evil Geniuses before bowing out to Splyce for a top 8 finish.
