If you powered through Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and found yourself mesmerized by the “vault” that was counting down to unlock in the main menu, you can now see what was behind it. Although it’s nothing to get too excited about, as you might have already guessed.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus’ latest patch acts as the game’s first major update, with a brand new DLC episode (that we already knew about), ten new combat simulations, and several fixes to stability and various other aspects of the game. The Vault was housing said combat simulations previously, which you can now begin to play after Chapter 2. You can go back and replay them any time you feel like it by accessing the menu, or you can return to rooms on Eva’s Hammer during your downtime to play them.

Additionally, The Freedom Chronicles DLC episode is now available to play, technically locked behind the vault previously, if you preordered the game and got it for free or picked up the Season Pass. You can purchase it separately still if you so choose, but now the content is actually available for you to start playing. Episode Zero, as it’s referred, features three new Nazi-slaying characters for you to explore, with some pretty intriguing situations to play in.

The patch also introduced several specific fixes exclusive to the PC version of the game, including improved stability on NVIDIA GPUs, driver updates, skybox issues and more. So if you were waiting for the big “reveal” from the Vault, well, here you go.
