The Steam Autumn Sale is already on its way, featuring a pretty solid deal on Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus' deluxe edition until Nov. 28. And as Thanksgiving rolls in for U.S. shoppers, Bethesda is also giving fans an extra incentive to pick up Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus this holiday season. The game now has a free demo available, letting players try out the first level without paying for the full game.

Here's how the free trial works. For anyone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus' first level is available to play through as much as you'd like. After finishing the level, players can then purchase the full game, and if they do, their save data transfers over. So there's no need to play through the first mission all over again if the demo proves enticing enough.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus originally released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Oct. 27. The game quickly received critical acclaim, and additional content is already on the way for December and later next year. The game's Nintendo Switch version is also still in the works, with Bethesda shooting to release the game for sometime in 2018.
