One of the gaming world's most anticipated titles got a new look today, as PlayStation revealed a new trailer from The Last of Us: Part II at Paris Games Week.

The hugely anticipated sequel from Naughty Dog still has no release date, sadly, but this video will undoubtedly drum up even more hype for the title. Be warned, however: It features some brutal violence.

The trailer looks to be a cutscene from the game, and it looks gorgeous, to say the least. It takes place on a dark street on a rainy night and features new characters. Notably absent are Joel and Ellie, the main characters from the first game.

The Last of Us: Part II looks to continue the story from the first game while simultaneously pushing the envelope with some of the best visuals that console games have ever seen. The scene is also especially brutal, as it seems the dark world that Naughty Dog built in the first game is getting even darker.

When the game will release is anyone's guess at this point, but when it does, it will be exclusively on PlayStation 4.
