Another year has come and gone for The Game Awards, and as 2017 draws to a close, it's time to look back on so many of the games that had our hearts racing over the year.

Competition was especially fierce this year, with heavy-hitters like Persona 5, Super Mario Odyssey, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild nominated in several categories. In the end, there could be only one game of the year, however, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ended up taking that honor home.

The show has come to a close, so if you want a quick refresher on which games took home the gold this year, here's a rundown of all the games to have won an award from this year's The Game Awards.

There are several interesting categories this year, including a Best Chinese Game, spawning from The Game Awards' partnership with Tencent to stream the show and translations in China during the broadcast. Unfortunately, one award just didn't show up, particularly the Best Multiplayer Game award. It still hasn't been announced, strangely enough.
