Chinese tech company Tencent has revealed a brand new battle royale game coming to China, and it actually looks pretty fun.

The game is called Europa and it features 100 players dropping into an exotic island to fight it out to be the last person standing. The game is said to feature a dynamic weather system, and destructible environments which can be seen in the trailer below.

This announcement comes less than a week after it was revealed that Tencent would be partnering with Bluehole, Inc. to publish PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in China. It appears that Tencent is aiming to take the battle royale genre by force in the region.

Europa seems to have potential, as the destructible environments and changing weather look to add a wrinkle into the battle royale formula. The game also looks pretty good visually so far, as well.

The game already has a page on Steam, although it is not in english just yet. It's expected to launch some time in 2018.
