Star Wars fans have been pumped for EA and DICE's upcoming team-based first-person shooter, Star Wars Battlefront 2. And a new trailer voiced by John Boyega reveals that the Star Wars Battlefront sequel is packed full of content that fundamentally changes the Battlefront series.

For one, Battlefront 2 has significantly more locations than the original game. Eighteen different areas will be featured, compared to the four locations that came with Battlefront's base game. Playable areas include the Death Star II, Fondor, The Force Awakens' Starkiller Base, and Yavin 4. There are also several locations relegated to single-player only, including Sullust, Vardos, and Bespin.

Maps aren't the only new addition to the Star Wars first-person shooter. Battlefront 2 features 14 different hero characters for players to try out, up from Battlefront's mere six, with customizable abilities available. Oh, and there's 39 different vehicles to try out in Battlefront 2, up from the 11 options from the first game.

Battlefront 2 also reintroduces class-based gameplayplayers can pick between the Assault, Heavy, Specialist, and Officer classes. Each class has their own unique weapons, attachments, and abilities, giving more structure back into the game through specific team builds.

Assault troops are your standard grunts, packing medium-ranged rifles and powerful explosives. Heavies have extremely powerful blasters and can deploy shields. Specialists are snipers with trap-laying abilities, and Officers command troops while deploying offensive turrets on the battlefield. Starfighters have their own classes, too, although the trailer doesn't explore these in too much detail. There's also a new "battle points" system, which can be used to call in reinforcements, vehicles, and heroes. They can also be used in space, allowing players to call in hero starfighters, such as the Millennium Falcon.

In total, five multiplayer modes are coming to Battlefront 2: Starfighter Assault, Strike, Blast, Heroes vs. Villains, and Galactic Assault. Of particular note is Blast, which focuses on close-quarters combat, as well as Galactic Assault, a 40-person objective-based mode where players advance through multiple stages to secure a map.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches Nov. 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Previously, information leaked about the game's beta, which is scheduled for early October.
