The ever-elusive rare candy in Pokémon Go may become more common.

Pokémon players around the world have been noticing an increase in the frequency they receive rare candy. The upturn in availability has caused some players to question their luck with some users taking to Pokémon forum boards to find out if it’s just them receiving their candy bounty.

What would this mean for players? You'd have more rare candy to upgrade your rare Pokémon like Porygon and Lapas. In addition, if you feed it to Pikachu, it instantly becomes Pikachu candy. The last time there was an increase in rare candy, it was down to Niantic adding to the game in June.

Fingers crossed that this is true and when fighting Raikou, more rare candy is rewarded.
