Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition highlights the slate of free games for PlayStation Plus in December 2017.

Originally released in 2012, Darksiders II's re-release on the PS4 includes all downloadable content as well as updated graphics and game balancing.

Also free is Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends, a family-friendly fighting game starring characters from the movie universe made famous by the voice talents of Jack Black and others.

December's other free games include Syberia Collection and Xblaze Lost: Memories for PS3, and Forma.8 and Wanted Corp for the PlayStation Vita. That's right, Sony hasn't forgotten about the Vita, contrary to popular belief.

One of the more exciting prospects for PS+ members in December also includes exclusive access to the beta of Monster Hunter: World from Dec. 9 to 12.
