EA may be going through some tough times right now amid Star Wars Battlefront 2's loot box controversy, but the publisher's Black Friday deals on Origin are sure to delight PC gamers eager to spend some cash. Over on Origin's official website, the distribution platform's "Mission Black Friday" deal is offering a whole slew of titles for sale, including deep discounts on The Sims 4 and Battlefield 1.

Now that EA's 2016 releases are getting on in age, EA has a lot of steep discounts going around for relatively new titles. But surprisingly, this year also features a lot of 2017 games on sale. From now until 10am PT on Nov. 28, shoppers can pick up discounts for such games Fifa 18, Battlefield 1 Revolution, Need for Speed Payback, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Here's some of the highlights from the deal below:

Personally speaking, we recommend The Sims 4, Battlefield 1, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. The relatively large cuts on all three games makes these deals pretty enticing, plus both The Sims 4 and Battlefield 1 have additional DLC and expansion packs on sale for players interested in picking up some post-launch content as well.

Deals last until Nov. 28, giving shoppers until Cyber Monday to fill up their carts. So as far as EA's Origin sale goes, it doesn't hurt to wait a couple days and see if these titles go on sale with any deeper cuts elsewhere, especially in retail stores. But of course, for anxious EA fans eager to pick up The Sims 4 or Mass Effect: Andromeda, today may just be the perfect opportunity to get started on holiday shopping.
