Ness, the feisty kid made famous in the Mother series, has been bopping opponents with his bat since the original Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. He’s also been impressing with his stylish PK Thunder ability, good for not only shocking his opponents but also keeping himself afloat after being launched towards his potential doom.

Now, YouTuber Mr. Wright has taken the necessary step of demonstrating just how many ways Ness has to beat you down in style.

Some of the most impressive combos involve Ness nearly losing his own life in in his to win. It’s a noble goal, one very much in line with Ness’ heroism in his own series of games.

Given how difficult it has proven to convince Nintendo to bring the continuation of the series beyond the SNES classic Earthbound to international audiences, players and fans may have to rely on exciting exhibitions such as these to get their Mother fix.
