Life is Strange: Before the Storm's Episode 3 has a release date

Square Enix is just leaving fans with a teaser trailer for now.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is coming to a close just in time for the holidays, it seems. The third episode's release date has been announced, and a full trailer for the final part will be on its way by tomorrow.

The third episode, which is called "Hell is Empty," launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Dec. 20, Gematsu reports. Square and DONTNOD Entertainment also published a teaser trailer hinting at some of the episode's content, with a full version coming up tomorrow, Dec. 6 at 12:30pm ET. In the meantime, there's a countdown clock provided by Square Enix for the full version's release.

Before the Storm serves as a prequel to the main Life is Strange series, detailing Chloe Price's time in Arcadia Bay and her relationship with her close friend Rachel Amber. A brief summary obtained by Niche Gamer details what fans can expect in the third and final episode.

In our brand-new ‘Life is Strange: Before the Storm Episode 3 trailer,’ we see Chloe struggling to keep grasp of the events unraveling in front of her as we hurtle towards a dramatic conclusion and the consequences of your all your actions so far. Life is Strange: Before the Storm's first two episodes are available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There's also a bonus episode reuniting Chloe and series protagonist Max Caulfield as childhood friends. That arrives early next year as part of the game's deluxe edition.
