On this week’s edition of the Leaderboard, our hosts discuss the League Championship Series (LCS) finals, the ESEA global final, and balance changes made to some of the most popular fighting games.

The NA LCS final featured a familiar pairing of teams, with Team SoloMid defeating Cloud9 three games to one after dropping the opening game of the series. In Europe, Fnatic managed to squeeze past Unicorns of Love three games to two in a frenetic series that was as entertaining as it was chaotic.

Virtus Pro managed to triumph in the ESEA final, but the biggest story from the event was the failure of the American Counter-Strike teams to win a single game over their European rivals. The disappointment has many fans expecting to see another round of roster changes in the volatile domestic scene.
