Let’s face it—while we’re all fans of the purity of competition in esports, sometimes you need a bit of pageantry.
This weekend at CEO 2015, Evil Geniuses‘ Kenneth “K-Brad” Bradley channeled a whole different kind of fighting game as he walked out for a match.
As his opponent settled in and prepares for the battle ahead, he probably wasn’t expecting to hear the sound of glass breaking—the sound that, throughout the late ’90s, heralded the arrival of Stone Cold Steve Austin to all professional wrestling fans in earshot.
The music blaring, Bradley aped Austin’s trademark swagger as he walked to the ring. He even went up on the corners and shotgunned some cans, though it was more likely energy drink than the Texas Rattlesnake’s beers.
Not content with the remarkably historical accurate entrance, Bradley then dished out Austin’s trademark Stone Cold Stunner. The whole thing needs to be seen to be believed:
Now all we need is a version with legendary commentator Jim Ross dubbed in.
