Yes, Oblivion Remastered is available on Xbox Game Pass. However, you will need to get the ultimate edition of the subscription to play the open-world fantasy title. Given that it has almost two decades since the original game was released, the remastered version features stunning visuals designed on Unreal Engine 5.

Additionally, the base edition of Oblivion Remastered also features all the DLCs that were released over time for the original version of the title. Here’s a list of all the DLCs that are available for you as soon as you purchase Oblivion Remastered:

  • Shivering Isles
  • Knights of the Nine
  • Fighter’s Stronghold

There’s also a deluxe edition that includes bonus in-game cosmetic items as well as a digital artbook and a soundtrack app.

Oblivion Remastered platforms

The original edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was released in 2006 on PC and Xbox 360 before its eventual release on the PS3 in 2007. Similarly, the remastered edition of the title will also be available across all the equivalent platforms, namely:

  • PC
  • Xbox Series S | X
  • PlayStation 5

Similar to all other titles in the series, Oblivion features an open-world scenario where you get to explore your path and build your character according to the in-game choices you make. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, the entire landscape of Cyrodiil looks much better than the original version, while keeping intact everything that made Oblivion the Game of the Year in 2006.

Apart from the surprise release of Oblivion Remastered, Bethesda has also confirmed that The Elder Scrolls VI is well in the works, and more news about it will be revealed soon.
