While RuneScape Classic was always a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, RuneScape Dragonwilds features a limited option when it comes to co-op. Dragonwilds servers can host a maximum of four players in every co-op lobby, allowing you to team up with up to three other players when queuing into co-op.

How to create a co-op world in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Before even starting with the game, you will need to create a world of your own in RuneScape Dragonwilds. You can do so by following a series of simple steps and then inviting your friends to join you in your adventure. Here’s the series of steps you need to follow:

• Click on the Play button on the main menu and head over to the Create World tab.
• Select the Play With Friends option from the available list to set up your new world.
• Select a name and password for your world and click on Create World to set up your private game server.

Once the server is set, all you have to do is invite your friends, and they will be able to join using the unique password that you have set for your in-game world. However, if you’re looking to join a world created by someone else, the process is a bit different.

How to join a co-op world in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Once your friend has set up an in-game world for you and other friends, you will need the password of the respective server to join. After you have acquired the password, follow a series of simple steps. Here are those steps:

• Click on the Play button on the main menu and head over to the Friends tab.
• Now select the active server that your friend is playing on and click on Enter World.
• You will need to enter the respective password for this world and then click on Enter to spawn in this server.

Following this series of steps will allow you to join any friend’s server and play the game with them. However, the game only allows up to four players on the same server, meaning that you won’t be able to play it with larger groups and parties.
