Traversing the vast and treacherous lands of RuneScape Dragonwilds can quickly drain your stamina. That’s where Lodestones come in, offering a vital way to save time and energy.
The Lodestones in RuneScape Dragonwilds are structures that help you teleport from one place to another using the Law Runes, which get unlocked in the Runecrafting skill and leveled up by mining the rune essence. Once you have enough of these spread around the map, you can completely cut down your walking time and do better things to defeat the dragons and vicious enemies.
How to build Lodestones and teleport in RuneScape Dragonwilds

To make Lodestones in RuneScape Dragonwilds, you need three main materials. You should have 32 stones, 20 rune essence, and one vault core. You can obtain stone by mining with your pickaxe or using the magic spell Rocksplosion, which breaks stones to collect them instantly. For the rune essence, you need to break the rocks near geysers to get the raw rune essence, which is crafted in different ways.
Lastly, the vault core can be obtained by completing various Dragonkin vaults in the game, which can be seen on the map as blue-colored icons. There are seven in the game currently, and each of them has more than one core. These are the dungeons with high-level enemies, and they have different weaknesses based on their type. I’d recommend you carry a ranged weapon, along with a magic staff or a melee weapon, so you’ll be ready to exploit any weaknesses.

I had a great time using a ranged bow in the dungeon, and it worked well with the melee enemies, but not the ones guarding the core. They can also use their ranged attack to prevent you to charge your attacks and shoot arrows at them. If you have a melee weapon, it’s best to use it against them as they need to distance themselves from you to perform their attacks.
If you die inside the vault to the enemies, you will spawn back in your bed, and your inventory will be placed outside the vault door to claim. However, if you do manage to get the core, it’ll unlock the recipe for the Lodestone, and you can now make it outside your base. You can make it on a platform and use it to return to your base from anywhere on the map using another Lodestone.

There is also a Lodestone in your starting area, and you can use the Law Runes to teleport between this and other Lodestones. The higher the distance between the Lodestones, the more Law Runes you’ll need to spend to teleport. You can place these structures near areas with resources like clay or other places or regions, where you’d go frequently to collect resources for your base. Ideally, you’d want to place these across all the vaults on the map, and then use the rest of the cores to make one near the resources and high-level enemies, especially if you want to farm these enemies for loot or hunt down animals for raw meat.
