A new update is scheduled to go live in Fortnite: Battle Royale tomorrow, and it includes the addition of an all-new weapon.

The smoke grenade will be making its debut alongside the new patch. It's a non-lethal grenade that's thrown like a regular frag grenade, but it will obscure vision with white smoke instead of blowing up.

The second main feature of the update is brand-new leaderboards. The two new categories include leaderboards for Global Wins and Score. Wins will rank the top 50 players for each match type in most victories, and Score will rank players by experience gained.

Medium ammo has gotten a change as well, as the amount carried has been increased from 10 to 14 in Duos and from 10 to 18 in Squads. Fortnite: Save the World gets some updates, too, including new Vindertech weapons and the return of Mutant Storms.

The 1.9.1 update is scheduled to go live tomorrow, Nov. 29, with the end of the Fortnitemares seasonal event.
