Destiny 2's launch on the PC is just eight days away, and Activision and Bungie have released a new trailer to hype up the incoming release.

The trailer, like the game, is in 4K and 60 frames per second, which is the main drawing point when compared to the console versions, which are locked at just 30 FPS.

Destiny 2's framerate will be uncapped on the PC, offering a more fluid performance than the console versions could ever hope for. If the game's beta at the end of August was any indication, it will run like a dream on most gaming rigs.

This is the first time Destiny will ever be on the PC platform, as the original game was available only on consoles. The RPG FPS "looter shooter" hybrid should fare well in the PC community, as bringing the sequel to PC was one of the most highly requested features before the game was announced.

Destiny 2 will be available exclusively on Blizzard's Battle.net launcher on Oct. 24, and the servers go live at 12pm CT.
