Destiny 2 is getting a free trial starting on Nov. 28, available on all platforms that the game can be played on.

The trial will feature solo and co-op play, as well as a preview of multiplayer. All progress that is obtained in the free trial will carry over if you choose to purchase the full game.

Destiny 2 dropped in price to as low as $29.99 last weekend, and the game's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, is due to launch next week on Dec. 6.

The game has recently come under fire from its passionate fanbase for a variety of reasons, but game director Luke Smith promised more information about the future of the game's sandbox and quality of life will be revealed during a livestream this Wednesday.

Destiny 2 is available on PC via Battle.net, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
