One of this year's most difficult games is being beaten very quickly just days after its release.

Cuphead is a run-and-gun indie game released on Sept. 29 on Xbox One and PC—and it looks like an old Disney movie. It's a ridiculously hard game that forces players to react within seconds to avoid incoming projectiles and enemies, all while firing back at them.

Even with this insane difficulty, two speedrunners have defeated two of the game's hardest categories—All Bosses and 100 percent—in under one hour. Fireb0rn currently holds the All Bosses speedrun record with a time of 37 minutes and 49 seconds, while niko bellic has the best time in the 100 percent category—but this run wasn't officially recorded with time stoppers.

That isn't to say that the speedruns themselves are perfect. The community believes that minutes can still be saved in certain areas as more optimized strategies are found in the future.

Regardless, it's an impressive feat that really shows the strength of the speedrunning community to come out and get these ridiculous times so quickly.
