The professional Super Smash Bros. scene continues to get more popular, and major esports teams are taking notice.

Counter Logic Gaming has signed 21-year-old Marth main Kevin “PewPewU” Toy. Melee it on Me ranked Toy stands as 13th best in the North American competitive scene in 2014.

While Toy is an incredibly talented player, besting at one point the likes of Juan “Hungrybox” DeBiedma and Joseph “Mango” Marquez, he has yet to win a major national. He has kept a strong reign over the northern California region, and the West Coast in general, but has found breaking into the top eight at an Apex or Evo rather elusive.

Either way, we look forward to how Toy performs now that he’s being backed by Counter Logic Gaming.
