Best weapons in RuneScape Dragonwilds

The game features three different types of weapons that you can choose from. These three categories are:
- Melee weapons
- Ranged weapons
- Magic weapons
There are further sub-categories for both melee and ranged weapons, depending on your playstyle. However, you will have to craft each of these weapons using resources that you gather from exploring the world and slaying monsters and dragons. Having said that, here are some of the weapons that you must use in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Dragonbone Dagger
Featuring the highest power level, this one-handed melee weapon provides a nice balance between damage and speed. The Dragonbone Dagger has a base damage of 29 while also featuring a 15 percent chance of making a critical strike with every attack. Additionally, the weapon also lowers the durability of affected enemies by 15 percent whenever attacked.
However, you will need to learn the recipe for crafting this weapon from the Stormtouched Highlands Vault before you can build it using the Smithing Anvil. You will require six ram horns, three antlers, one hard leather, and four vault shards to craft the Dragonbone Dagger in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Thane’s Authority
Thane’s Authority is a two-handed melee weapon featuring the highest base damage for any weapon in the game, dealing 86 damage with every strike. Despite packing a punch with every hit, Thane’s Authority has a pretty long backswing, lowering the speed and agility of your character when wielding this weapon.
However, you will need to defeat Garou Thanes for the Brutal Bladehead Vestige before you can craft this weapon in the game. Once you’ve acquired the recipe, you will require 10 iron bars, eight bronze bars, four oak logs, and four vault shards to craft this fearsome weapon in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
Abyssal Whip
Yet another single-handed melee weapon, the Abyssal Whip is one of the strongest weapons available in the game because of its Abyssal Snare ability. This ability causes a 25 damage bleed build-up on enemies hit with the weapon on top of the basic damage of 49. Additionally, the Abyssal Snare also knocks down enemies hit by the ability, allowing you to initiate fights from a fairly long range and yet approach the enemy before they recover.
You will need to hunt Abyssal Demons for the recipe to craft this weapon on the Smithing Anvil. Once the recipe is secured, you will need one abyssal spine, eight hard leather, four ram horns, 12 vault shards, and one vault core to craft in the game.
Blightwood Longbow

This one is for those who prefer a ranged fighting style over close-range melee combat. The Blightwood Longbow is arguably the strongest ranged weapon in RuneScape Dragonwilds, featuring a power level of four while also dealing 4.1 times the arrow damage to enemies struck with it. However, being a longbow does cut short the weapon of its quickfire mechanic while also lowering the draw speed for each arrow to increase the range and damage of the weapon.
You will require 12 blightwood, six swamp thread, four iron bars, four jade, and four vault shards to build the Blightwood Longbow. If you are a fan of long-range combat, you must have this weapon in your arsenal.
Draconic Staff
The only magic weapon featured in this list, the Draconic Staff, features a 4.1 times damage multiplier for whichever rune you have equipped while also having a power level of four. This weapon is capable of dealing massive bursts of elemental damage to enemies and is extremely strong against those who have a weakness for magic-based attacks.
You will need to explore a bit before you can unlock the recipe for this weapon, which can be found inside a chest on the western wall located outside the Dragonkin Vault in Ashien’s Watch. Once you have the Parts of a Sinister Looking Staff Vestige, you need 10 iron bars, six granite, four jade, and four vault shards to craft this weapon on the Smithing Anvil.
