Where to find Bees in Grounded 2

Grounded 2 puts you in a garden full of sprawling bugs and towering blades of grass, where your survival depends on knowing your surroundings and your enemies. 

Among the many creatures you’ll encounter are Bees, majestic yet dangerous flyers that can be both a threat and a valuable resource for crafting new items. If you’re having trouble finding them, you’re not alone. Bees are hard to spot and only appear in a few specific areas. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

How to find Bees in Grounded 2

There are a select few places where you can find these Bees, but the one where you can consistently find them is on top of a rock in the Ceremony region. The Bees usually rest on the rock after flying around the region. 

To reach the top of the rock, you’ll need to use the spiderwebs attached to the object on the ground and use them to make your way to the rock slowly. After reaching the peak of the rock, you should find at least one Bee, and you can start attacking them. Keep your eyes out for the Scorpion, which also climbs up the rock and patrols during the day. You must take care of him to have an uninterrupted duel with the Bee on top of the rock. 

Bees sleep at this spot at night, so if you weren’t lucky enough to find them nearby during the day, returning after sunset gives you a better chance. If you don’t provoke the Bees, they won’t attack you because they’re not hostile. However, if they fly into the tall grass and become hard to track, your best bet is to head to the Statue region next to the gardens. You’ll need to rely on ranged weapons to hit a Bee and engage it in combat to collect its resources.

How to defeat Bees in Grounded 2

Bees are a hard enemy to defeat, but are easier to kill than other bugs in Grounded 2. Bees’ main offensive ability is their Sting, when they curl up their body and come straight at you. It’s best to dodge or parry this move and continue your attacks. Start your fight with a charged attack with a melee weapon to stun it and then follow it with your ranged weapon, like the bow, to keep dealing damage to it.

We recommend riding the Red Soldier Ant Buggy, which you can use to take some damage as you land those critical hits on the Bee. The buggy also makes it easier to run from other predators, who might interrupt your fight and make you lose your backpack on the hill. I found the Scorpion spoiling the fight multiple times, so I ended up building the Lean-To next to the area to spawn near the fight and take down the enemy first before taking on the Bee.

What do you get from Bees in Grounded 2

You can get two items by killing the Bees: Bee Fuzz and Sting. Both of them have different uses. Starting with the String, it allows you to make a weapon like the Stinger Spear, and it is also used for making the Bee Face Mask and the Stuffed Bee decoration. On the other hand, the Bee Fuzz is used for multiple reasons, especially to make armor such as Bee Shoulder Pads and Guard for the legs. This armor set is a must-have for players who love to use their bow to dish out damage, as it gives them a bonus on their damage.

Another armor set that needs the Bee Fuzz is the Fuzzy Hat, Parka, and Mukluks, which allow you to go inside the freezing regions of the map without breaking a sweat. You can have dishes like Mac N Bees with it and make a variety of stuffed bugs using the Fuzz.
