Skills are a vital part of RuneScape Dragonwilds, and they passively help your character become stronger and more efficient in Ashenfall to face challenging enemies.

Each skill in RuneScape Dragonwilds comes with a passive buff and active abilities that you can unlock after reaching a certain mastery level. Unlike other games, you don’t need to invest any points into levelling up your skills, and you can increase levels by just playing the game. As a result, you can also have versatile fighting styles without locking yourself to a single role in the game.

Attack levels also increase its duration.  Level 16: Weapon Expertise – Unlocks additional attacks for all melee weapons.  Level 20: Enchant Weapon: Fire – Enchant your current Melee weapon with the power of Fire. You can apply Burning to enemies with critical hits.  Level 23: Adaptability – Evading or blocking no longer interrupts your combos when using a melee weapon.  Level 27: Unlocks the build for the weapon rack to display your weapons. Level 30: Enchant Weapon: Air – Enchant your current melee weapon with the power of Air. It increases the weapon’s attack speed.  Level 34: Lesser Portion of Attack – Get the recipe for the Lesser portion of attack for the Brewing Cauldron.  Level 37: Training Dummy – Unlocks the ability to build a Training Dummy to test your melee weapons.  Level 40: Whetstone – Allows crafting of whetstones at Crafting Table, which can be used to sharpen melee weapons for increased damage.
Cooking	Each level increases your delicious food chance at the cooking range by one percent. You can increase your Cooking skill by making meals and water. Level 20: Internal Alchemy – Resets any active food and drink buffs with a spectacular display of culinary appreciation. Level 27: Bones to Peaches – Transmute unwanted bones on the ground to fresh peaches for your consumption. Level 40: Yes, Chef! – Unlocks recipe for Chef’s Hat, crafting at the Crafting Station.
Mining	Each level increases your mini critical hit chance by one percent.	You can increase your Mining skill by mining ore, clay or stones, or even gathering them from the ground.	Level five: Lift with your hips – The weight of stone, clay, and sand raw material is reduced by 25 percent. Level 11: Rocksplosion – Conjure a powerful blast to break apart stone boulders and ore. Level 16: Gem Prospector – Mining ore now sometimes produces precious gemstones. Level 20: Mine Crumbled Walls – Allows you to knock down crumbled walls with a pickaxe, granting access to hidden or blocked areas. Level 24: Detect Ore+Clay – Invoke the power of the Stone Spirits to guide you to the nearest ore and clay rocks. Level 36: Not-so-heavy Metal – The weight of the metal is reduced by 25 percent.
Woodcutting	Each level reduces the Woodcutting stamina costs by one percent.	You can increase Woodcutting skill by chopping down trees, tearing up saplings and collecting logs from the ground.	Level four: Overhead Chop – You can perform an overhead chop, which deals higher damage against fallen logs, but little against standing trees. Useful for collecting logs quickly. Level 11: Astral Projection – Conjure an Astal Axe and launch it forward, instantly cutting down trees in its path. Level 16: Bird Nests – You can now find bird nests while felling trees, and these nests contain useful items. Level 20: Chop Thorny Vines – Allows you to cut down thorny vines with a hatchet, granting access to hidden or blocked areas. Level 27: Splinter – A powerful spell which instantly chops fallen trees into logs. Level 40: Lumber Storage – You can now build the lumber storage, a very high capacity storage for logs and planks.
Artisan	Each level decreases your durability loss by one percent on the equipment.	You can level up the Artisan skill by crafting new weapons, armor, and tools.	Level 11: Back to Bones – Use Alchemy to transmute a tree into a stack of bones. Level 20: Superheat – Cast on fire-based stations to empower them and boost their processing speed for a while. Level 27: Magical Mending – Throw your items and repair them instantly using this spell. Level 40: Decorated Adventurer – Unlocks the Armor Mannequin, where you can put a set of armor onto it.
Construction	There are no level passive buffs.	You can build new structures to level up the Construction skill.	Level three: Middle Ground – Unlocks medium-sized building pieces. Level five: Fine Details – Unlocks small building pieces. Level eight: Unlocks triangular building pieces. Level 11: Eye of Oculus – Become the mystical Eye of Oculus and build structures more easily with a whole new perspective. Level 16: Creature Comforts – Unlocks an assortment of furniture and decorations. Level 18: New material: Oak – Unlocks the next tier of building pieces. Level 20: Summon Shelte r- Construct a temporary shelter with a bed through the power of Astral Magic. Level 40: Personal Chest – Access your Personal Storage chest from anywhere.
Runecrafting	There are no level passive buffs.	You can gather Rune Essence and craft runes to level up this skill.	Level eight: Windstep – Summons the power of Air Magic to jump higher and descend more slowly. Level 11: Earth Runes – Unlocks the recipe for making Earth Runes at the Rune Altar. Level 13: Fire Runes – Unlocks the recipe for making Fire Runes at the Rune Altar. Level 16: Law Runes – Unlocks Law Runes at the Rune Altar. Level 18: Nature Runes – Unlocks Nature Runes at the Rune Altar. Level 20: Fire Spirit – Conjure a fire spirit to light your way. Level 27: Essential Strength – The weight of rune essence is reduced by 50 percent.
