The long-awaited games list for Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2018 has been revealed, giving fans a lot of new and exciting games to look forward to, as well as some old favorites.

AGDQ is a marathon event hosted on Twitch that tasks players with beating games as quickly as possible to raise money for charity. It brings speedrunners from across the world to a single event that is streamed online. Viewers can make donations for a chance to win prizes and help out charity in the process.

Over 1,500 speedruns were submitted for this year's event, with only 206 games being accepted overall.

Splatoon 2 and Yooka-Laylee are making their GDQ debut at this event with fans eagerly waiting to see which speedrunners will show up this January. Zelda: Breath of the Wild will also be making a return after being at SGDQ 2017, so fans can watch speedrunners complete all of the main quests in under four hours.

The last event, SGDQ 2017, raised just under $2 million for charity in July. Some fans will be curious to see if AGDQ can reach $3 million overall for the first time in the event's history when the marathon goes live on Twitch in January.
