On this week’s edition of the Leaderboard, our hosts preview the upcoming League Champion Series split.

Riot’s popular game League of Legends is getting back into full-swing with another LCS season set to begin. The panel discusses whether the defending champions in each region, North America’s Team SoloMid and Europe’s Fnatic, will be able to defend their crowns this summer. The biggest challengers are also up for discussion, including American teams Cloud9 and Counter Logic Gaming and European sides Unicorns of Love and SK Gaming.

Our hosts also take a look at a busy weekend in the fighting game scene with two big tournaments playing out across two continents, including an event at which Mortal Kombat X supplanted Street Fighter 4 for top billing. Early problems for Kinguin’s new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team are broken down as well.
