The best of the best from every corner of competitive Dota will converge on Sweden for the annual DreamLeague on Monday, but two of China’s finest won’t be joining the festivities.

Invictus Gaming and LGD, the league’s Asian regional qualifiers, received word earlier today that their visa applications were rejected. The rejection letter specifically cited missing documentation to verify the teams’ participation in the competition.

The problem is unfortunately common for Eastern teams participating in Western competitions. Team CIS-Game nearly missed the year's biggest tournament, The International, this year when their visa applications were denied.

DreamLeague officials are now searching for teams to to take their place. Regardless of who is selected, the news is yet another complication for a league that’s had its fair share of troubles this year.
