The start date for pre-loading Destiny 2 on PC is this Wednesday, Oct. 18, Bungie has announced.

A new trailer for the PC version dropped today, touting 4K resolution and uncapped framerate, which are the main two selling points for the series' first foray onto the platform.

A specific time for the pre-load being available was not given, but the start date gives players six days to load the game on Blizzard's Battle.net before the servers go live at 12pm CT on Oct. 24.

Destiny 2 has found a lot of success early on since its release. It was the number one game on the PlayStation Store for the month of September. Its Expansion Pass was the number one-selling add-on for the month.

Some hardcore players, however, are upset with the current state of Destiny 2's endgame, although Bungie has promised changes and revisions in the future.

PC players will get a chance to experience it all for themselves very soon.
