This is every Exotic weapon in Destiny 2 so far

There are 18 total Exotic weapons in Destiny 2 at launch (that we know of so far), but that number is sure to grow. They can be difficult to find at times, and sometimes it all depends on luck. But some guns have specific methods of finding them.

Here's every Exotic weapon in Destiny 2 that is known so far, and how to get them

Borealis (PS4 Exclusive)

Borealis is a sniper rifle that fits into the Power Weapon slot. Its unique trait is that it can change to any element—Arc, Solar, or Void—simply by holding down the reload button.

How to get it: Random drop, Exotic Engram, Legendary Engram, Vendor package, Strike reward, Crucible reward

Coldheart

Coldheart is the only Trace Rifle in Destiny thus far. It fires an icy beam of Arc damage at a long range and is one of the most unique guns in the game.

D.A.R.C.I.

An acronym for Data Analysis, Reconnaissance, and Cooperative Intelligence, D.A.R.C.I. is a powerful sniper that displays critical information in its scope. The scope will display the enemy's health, shield, and distance, among other relevant information.

How to get it: Exotic Engram, Legendary Engram, Vendor package, Strike reward, Crucible reward

Fighting Lion

This grenade launcher fits into the Energy Weapon slot, and its unique perk is that the grenades can be detonated on a delay. Just hold down the trigger and release it when you're ready to blow.

Graviton Lance

This Energy Weapon pulse rifle is a beast. Its high recoil is a trade-off for the fact that killing an enemy with the last bullet in a burst sucks it into a black hole and makes them explode.

Hard Light

Hard Light returns from Destiny 1 with the same perks that made it special. This Energy Weapon has bullets that have no damage falloff and ricochet off of hard surfaces. New to Destiny 2, you can now choose which element the gun will use.

Merciless

One of the stronger new exotics in Destiny 2, this Power Weapon fusion rifle is great for taking down bosses with high health pools, as "non-lethal hits with projectiles make this weapon charge faster until its wielder gets a kill."

MIDA Multi-Tool

The MIDA makes its triumphant return in Destiny 2 as a Kinetic Weapon. This scout rifle boosts your movement speed and allows you to see your radar while you aim down the sights.

Rat King

This unique sidearm is a Kinetic Weapon that gets stronger when used in a pack. That's right, the more people nearby in your fireteam that are using the Rat King, the stronger this weapon gets.

Riskrunner

This Energy Weapon is beautiful when facing off against enemies who deal Arc damage. When you take damage from Arc weapons, it charges up the Riskrunner and will continuously refill the gun's magazine, allowing you to fire it for extended periods of time.

Skyburner's Oath

This Energy Weapon is really strong against the Cabal that wield it, as it can overpenetrate their shields. The gun fires faster when firing from the hip, but it becomes way stronger when firing while aiming.

Sturm

This classic-looking handcannon fits in the Kinetic Weapon slot and works well when paired with a strong Energy Weapon. Kills with Sturm will automatically reload your equipped Energy Weapon, and kills with an Energy Weapon will boost Sturm's precision damage until you reload it.

How to get it: Quest reward

Sunshot

This Energy Weapon handcannon will light enemies on fire with Solar power, and killing them with it will detonate them to explode and deal Solar damage to nearby enemies.

Sweet Business

This minigun is a Kinetic Weapon with a huge magazine. Bullets take a while to spin up, but the gun becomes stronger and more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger.

The Prospector

This grenade launcher is a Power Weapon that has automatic fire, and can launch up to eight grenades. If you hold down the trigger, the grenades will hold and then detonate when the trigger is released.

The Wardcliff Coil

This Power Weapon automatically reloads ammo on pickup, and fires a volley of rockets all at once. It deals a ton of damage in the radius that it hits.

Tractor Cannon

This unique shotgun fits in the Power Weapon slot and is a ton of fun to use. It doesn't do an insane amount of damage, but it fires a sort of air blast that will send enemies flying in both PvE and PvP.

Vigilance Wing

This Kinetic pulse rifle fires a five-round burst, and when a nearby ally is killed, you can health regeneration and increased movement speed.
