Destiny 2's first expansion now has a release date, as a brand-new trailer just dropped during PlayStation's show at Paris Games Week.

Curse of Osiris will launch on all platforms on Dec. 5, just a little over a month away. The DLC features a legendary Warlock named Osiris, who was exiled from The Last City.

The trailer shows off a new location, Mercury, as well as new weapons and gear. And Osiris himself, who looks incredibly bad-ass. The first expansion promises new story missions and a bunch of new gear to equip.

The main enemy of the expansion looks to be the Vex, who have repurposed Mercury entirely. Mercury was previously only seen in Destiny 1 in Crucible maps and in the Lighthouse social space, so it will be the first time the planet is used for story elements.

While Destiny 2 has been out on consoles for nearly two months, the game only just released on the PC last week, so PC gamers have very little time to wait before the universe expands in a big way at the start of December.
