China's top Heroes of the Storm team eStar Gaming has pulled out of the inaugural Heroes World Championship after weeks of speculation and rumor over about their presence at the event.

EStar Gaming has become one of the most decorated teams in Heroes esports since its inception, with 13 event wins to its name. They comfortably qualified for the event with victory at the Heroes China Championship, ahead of Team YL, who took second.

Thanks to what are likely to be visa problems, eStar will not be taking part in the first World Championship. This is the second tournament where visa problems have ruled them out, after they withdrew from the MGA 2015 tournament in August.

Taking their place will be Brave Heart, the third place team from the China Championship.

The new Chinese representatives will have a tough time of it in Group B, as they go up against Korean champions Team DK, European champions Natus Vincere and the previously unstoppable Tempo Storm.

In Group A, Americans winners Cloud9 will face Team Dignitas, Team YL and Taiwanese champions GIA.
