Leading esports and game data provider GRID has joined forces with Sportstensor, the official market maker and liquidity provider for Polymarket, to power esports prediction markets with server-level data.
With this partnership, GRID will serve as Sportstensor’s official data oracle, supplying live, rights-compliant data for major esports titles straight from its partner esports rights holders such as Riot Games, Ubisoft, BLAST, and ESL FACEIT Group.
Dominika Szot, Vice President of Growth at GRID, highlighted how prediction markets align with esports’ digital-first nature: “Prediction markets are emerging as one of the fastest-growing frontiers for digital engagement. Esports, a sport digital by nature, is a natural fit within that ecosystem.”
“Integrity in settlement is critical, and official data provides the foundation to ensure predictions remain fair, transparent and tamper-proof while adding new dimensions of entertainment value,” Szot added.
Bridging esports and prediction markets through the GRID-Sportstensor partnership

This data oracle deal covers CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT. The data is sourced directly through GRID’s exclusive partnerships with publishers and tournament organizers, ensuring accuracy and integrity at every level.
In decentralized ecosystems, data oracles play a crucial role by transmitting verified real-world information, such as match results, to blockchain-based smart contracts. This process ensures that market settlements are accurate, tamper-proof, and transparent.
According to GRID, the integration of official, server-level data will not only expand the range of available markets but also enhance integrity and fairness across esports betting platforms that feature prediction markets.
Leo Chan, Co-Founder and CEO of Sportstensor, emphasized the importance of verified data in maintaining trust and innovation within prediction ecosystems: “Prediction markets depend on trust, not just between traders, but in the accuracy of outcomes that underpin every contract.”
“Partnering with Grid ensures our esports markets are settled using verified, rights-compliant data straight from the source. That allows us to design richer and more engaging markets for Polymarket users, uniquely enabled by official data,” Chan added.
Through the new agreement, GRID and Sportstensor aim to transform esports data into actionable market intelligence, powering platforms like Polymarket and Almanac Market while getting a share of the $2.8 billion esports industry.
