Buenos Aires-based esports organization 9z Team has secured a two-year sponsorship deal with global betting company 1xBet, making the bookmaker its new title sponsor.
Based on the announcement, 1xBet will work closely with 9z Team to support the growth of Counter-Strike esports in Argentina, offering players and teams additional resources, community engagement opportunities, and content creation initiatives designed to increase visibility.
The partnership makes 1xBet the tenth official partner of 9z, joining brands such as Shell, Monster Energy, and Samsung in backing one of Argentina’s most successful esports organizations. Financial details of the sponsorship were not disclosed.

As part of the agreement, 9z will feature 1xBet branding across its social media, live streams, curated video content, and at tournaments where esports gambling sponsorships are permitted.
This move continues 1xBet’s aggressive esports push in 2025, making it one of the top esports betting platforms in the market.
Earlier this year, the bookmaker struck high-profile partnerships with tournament organizers PGL and BLAST, cementing itself as a major stakeholder in the competitive CS2 ecosystem.

9z became the second Argentinian org to partner with the renowned bookmaker, following Bestia’s 2024 deal that tied grassroots investment to its Shanghai Major qualification run.
Founded in 2018, 9z Team has steadily grown into one of Latin America’s most recognizable esports brands. The org competes across six titles, including VALORANT, PUBG Mobile, Rainbow Six, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, but Counter-Strike remains its flagship division.
9z currently sits on the 47th spot in the Valve global rankings, where only the top 32 teams secure a place at the StarLadder Budapest Major. Backed by its new partnership with 1xBet, the team will press on with its qualification campaign at the Thunderpick World Championship 2025, set to take place next month.
For 1xBet, adding 9z Team to its sponsorship portfolio complements existing deals with international esports orgs such as OG, Team Spirit, Tundra, MIBR, and Talon Esports, as well as football giants FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
