How to find and use the Empowered Sword in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 4

The KPop Demon Hunters bring some new weapons and items to Fortnite Chapter Six, season four, including the powerful Empowered Sword. This mythic rarity weapon is hard to find, so we have some tips for getting your hands on one of the best weapons in the game right now.

How to find the Empowered Sword in Fortnite Chapter 6 season 4

Rumi’s Empowered Sword is very hard to find in Fortnite as it is a mythic rarity item and only one spawns per match. If you manage to find it, you are considered one of the lucky ones. Many players so far have yet to find it despite playing for hours since the KPop Demon Hunters update dropped.

To find the Empowered Sword in Battle Royale or Zero Build, you need to look for a gold and purple, glowing sword either on the floor, as floor loot, or dropped from a rare chest. It also rarely appears from a Capture Point.

We have noticed that the best place to drop to find Rumi’s Empowered Sword is at Outlaw Oasis or Shogun Solitude, where Rumi, Mira, and Zoey hang out. Here, you will also find plenty of other KPop Demon Hunter items like Zoey’s Bubble Shield and Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon.

No doubt Epic Games will increase the spawn rate of the Empowered Sword at some point to help players complete the KPop Demon Hunter quests.

How to find the Empowered Sword in Demon Rush

You can also use Rumi’s Empowered Sword in the Demon Rush mode this season. To find it, you need first to defeat a lot of the Demons and collect the Demon Parts. These can then be exchanged for upgrades and weapons.

When there is a break in the chaos and the team gears up again, find a KPop Demon Hunter Vending Machine and purchase your Empowered Sword.

How to use the Empowered Sword

The Empowered Sword can be used in two ways: as a melee weapon or to fire energy blasts. To use it as a melee weapon, hit out three times in a combo to deal a lot of damage.

The sword is slow but mighty, so use it wisely and try to keep moving so an enemy can’t one-shot you with a shotgun as you try to get a combo in.
