Fortnite: Battle Royale players can finally try the new Horde Rush limited time mode.
The mode was supposed to be released yesterday, but it was temporarily replaced by the One Shot LTM when Epic Games experienced unspecified issues with the zombies mode.
Now, however, players can jump into the Horde Rush LTM and kill as many Fortnite Fiends as they want. “Fight alongside your teammates to rack up your score by finding hidden score multipliers, opening special loot chests, and eliminating as many monsters as you can,” the mode’s description reads. “Traverse across the map, survive all of the Defend locations and take down the Final Boss to win.”
Epic also released a unique set of challenges for the Horde Rush LTM. There are seven tasks, and completing all of them will unlock the rare Fiend weapon wrap. Epic said that “the challenges will be adjusted to compensate” for the mode’s downtime yesterday. At the time of writing, players have just under three days to finish the Horde Rush challenges.
Most players weren’t huge fans of the Fortnite Fiends when they invaded the game’s default playlists. But now that they have their own mode, some players might enjoy eliminating these creatures a bit more.
