HEROIC has confirmed that Wisper will officially take over mid lane responsibilities, completing a dramatic three-part roster shift following the team’s top-six finish at The International 2025.
The move marks a defining moment in the team’s evolution, as they continue refining their lineup while preserving the chemistry that fueled their historic run. The restructuring began on Sept. 19 with the release of mid laner 4nalog, leaving an immediate vacancy in the core lineup.
Just a day later, Wisper announced that he would step away from the offlane role, a decision that briefly left the team with two critical gaps to fill. HEROIC quickly responded by reuniting with Davai Lama, who reclaimed his position on the roster after departing in December 2024. On Sept. 21, the final announcement revealed Wisper’s return to the team in a completely new capacity, transitioning into the mid lane role.
For Wisper, this move represents a return to familiar territory. The 25-year-old Bolivian has past mid lane experience from his time with Infamous and has recently practiced the role in nearly one-fifth of his recent matches. His willingness to adapt reflects both personal versatility and the team’s trust in his ability to take on new challenges at the highest level.
These adjustments follow HEROIC’s remarkable International campaign, where they rebounded from an early 0-2 setback against PARIVISION to secure South America’s joint-best TI result.
